Holy Cow & Mayfair Shopping Centre take home gold for Sex and the City Campaign
(NEW YORK, NY) - Mayfair Mall has won a Maple Leaf Gold Award from the International Council of Shopping Centres for its Sex and the City2/If the Shoe Fits promotion. Inspired by the movie première of Sex and the City 2, Mayfair launched a three-week merchandising event in May to spark fashion sales. About 1,000 shoppers tried on four pairs of high-end designer shoes in the If the Shoe Fits contest while there were 3,200 entries to win a VIP prize package. Recognition went to Mayfair marketing director Karina Perkins, GM Ken Hoang, Ivanhoe Cambridge regional marketing manager Belinda Davidson and Julie Coward, principle/ owner, Holy Cow Communication Design.
